Who Workers and worker representatives
This ever popular training school offers a unique learning environment designed to encourage new or renewed health, safety and workers’ compensation activism. Participants select from training options developed by the Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC), the Ontario Federation of Labour Occupational Disability Response Team (OFL-ODRT) and others committed to prevention and justice for workers and their families. 
Participants must select to participate in one of the following programs*:
  • WHSC Level I Basic Occupational Health & Safety Awareness
  • WHSC Level II Committees (Provincial)
  • MHCC Mental Health First Aid Certification & WHSC Violence Prevention in the Workplace
  • OFL-ODRT WSIB Program Level 1 & 2
  • OFL-ODRT Level 5 Medical Orientation
  • OFL-ODRT Level 6 Occupational Disease

*registration for each program is limited so register today
School organizers, in recognizing the need to foster health, safety and compensation system awareness and activism in younger workers, are offering $100 scholarship opportunities to help offset registration fees for the first 10 paid registrants aged 30 or under.  Successful candidates must enrol in an entry level course, including the WHSC Level I program.
