Labour activists invited to November Eastern Ontario educational
An upcoming training opportunity hosted by and for workers focuses on the pursuit of healthier and safer workplaces and just compensation for workers affected by workplace hazards.
For more than 30 years, workers and their representatives have attended this annual health and safety/workers compensation educational, sponsored by the labour councils of Eastern Ontario. This school continues to offer a unique learning environment whereby instructors and participants become important resources long after they have returned to their workplaces, unions and communities.

Participants select from training options developed by the Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) and the Ontario Federation of Labour’s Prevention Link program. Each program is designed to empower workers and their representatives with the knowledge, tools and confidence to pursue safer and healthier workplaces and to overcome the hurdles presented by Ontario’s workers compensation system.
