Repetitive strain injuries (RSIs), also known as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs),
are by far the most common type of injury suffered by workers. The pain and suffering can be significant. So too are the economic costs borne by injured workers, their families and taxpayers.
International RSI Awareness Day, held annually the last day in February, highlights this ongoing epidemic.
For our part in support of RSI Day, the Workers Health & Safety Centre is offering deeply discounted RSI/MSD-related training in communities across Ontario. This training focuses on the prevention of RSIs/MSDs through ergonomic solutions and training.
