Version 2.0 of Confined Spaces Entry and Hazard Recognition program available

Version 2.0 of Confined Spaces Entry and Hazard Recognition program available
WHSC program developers updated this important program to reflect the consolidation of confined space regulations, to re-organize the content into a single module program and to clarify regulatory requirements regarding inerting, ventilating and purging confined spaces containing atmospheric hazards.
This program is now available for booking.
Editor’s Note:
This one-day program is for workers required to enter confined spaces and those who perform related work. The WHSC also offers a three hour confined space hazard awareness program aimed at the general workforce, but is not designed to satisfy the legal training requirements for workers entering confined spaces or performing related work. After completion of the WHSC Confined Spaces Entry Hazard Recognition Training, workers must also receive workplace and plan-specific training in order to comply with confined space entry requirements. This training must be developed in consultation with the joint health and safety committee or worker representative. The WHSC offers a comprehensive two-day program to help prepare participants to play a proactive role in the development and implementation of their workplace and plan-specific confined space training.
