Workers Health & Safety Centre

WHSC Working at Heights training opportunities available throughout June

Worker working safely at heights
At the Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) we are working hard to facilitate compliance with new Working at Heights training requirements.

Falls from heights are the leading cause of traumatic worker deaths and critical injuries in construction. Recent media headlines confirm this unacceptable situation.

As such, we continue to schedule Working at Heights training courses in Ontario communities, opening new courses as existing ones fill. Currently, there are some 20 courses available in June in communities from Fort Francis to Kingston, Toronto and Windsor.

New regulations require employers to ensure untrained or inadequately trained construction workers complete a Ministry of Labour (MOL)-approved working at heights training course before they work at heights and use fall protection equipment and systems.

As Ontario’s only government-designated health and safety training centre, the WHSC was one of the first to receive Ministry approval for our Working at Heights training program.

Our comprehensive one-day course is also
  • Specially priced to ease access
  • Designed to ensure critical learning takes place
  • Delivered by experienced instructors in the trades
  • Available for booking at a suitable venue of your choosing
  • Backed by complete records of training and replacement cards when needed.

Register today for any one of our scheduled courses.

Or call 1-888-869-7950 and ask to speak to one of our training services representatives to discuss bringing training to your work site or facility.
