We Can Help

For more than 25 years, the Workers Health & Safety Centre has supported the efforts of workplace representatives in their pursuit of hazard-free workplaces. This support has ranged from answering health and safety concerns posed over the phone to the development and delivery of occupational health and safety training.

Counting hundreds of thousands of individuals and companies over the years as clients, we know our products and services are effective. In fact, much evidence confirming this exists including the designation we've received from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as Ontario's health and safety training centre.

Still, with the dynamic nature of work, workplace hazards and regulatory issues, we know our work is never complete. We understand we have to look ahead to keep ahead. We work hard to stay out front of the issues so you have one less thing to be concerned about. With an experienced staff of training service representatives working from six locations across Ontario, along with communication specialists, technical researchers and program development officers, we are well-positioned to provide workplace representatives with as much or as little help as they need.

To be as effective as we can be though, we can't and don't work in isolation.

We are part of a vast network of health and safety advocates from workplaces in every sector of the economy. Thus, we are better able to keep abreast of ever-changing work environments, the potential hazards they create and the workplace solutions aimed at preventing harmful exposures.
