100 Workers and Anonymity of Prevention
As a millennium project for Year 2000, Ontario's Workplace Safety and Insurance Board commissioned a monument to commemorate the lives of Ontario workers who died due to workplace injuries or illnesses. Comprised of two separate artworks-100 Workers and Anonymity of Prevention, this monument is located in Simcoe Park immediately west of the WSIB's Toronto office at 200 Front Street West.

Breaking Ground Quilt
The Hogg's Hollow disaster of March 17, 1960 is a sad reminder of worker exploitation. Five Italian Canadian workers paid the ultimate price for this exploitation. Their legacy, however, lives on through a quilt designed by visual artist Laurie Swim with help from numerous family members of the victims along with other community volunteers. The quilt, Breaking Ground: Hogg’s Hollow Disaster 1960, is permanently displayed in the main mezzanine at the York Mills subway station in Toronto.

Chinese Workers' Monument
This monument is dedicated to the many Chinese workers killed during the construction of the Canadian National Railway in the 1800's. It is estimated that at least one worker was killed for each mile of track. The monument is located on the west side of the Skydome.

Ontario Nurses' Monument
On April 28, 2004, in a joint ceremony with the Toronto and York Region Labour Council, the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) unveiled this commemorative plaque dedicated to nurses who have died in the course of caring for their patients. The plaque is located on the front of the provincial ONA building in Toronto at the corner of Elizabeth and Grenville Streets.

Police Officers' Monument
This monument is dedicated to police officers killed in the line of duty in the province of Ontario. It is located at Queen's Park.
