Customized Products: Research Services

The Workers Health & Safety Centre responds to thousands of health and safety-related inquiries each year. Most are handled by our training service representatives working from one of our six regional offices. Questions range from legally mandated training issues to functioning of joint health and safety committees.

Those inquiries of a more technical nature or requiring extensive investigation are passed along to our research staff. They handle topics ranging from the potential health risks associated with a particular chemical to work design issues requiring ergonomic solutions. In any case, the role of the research officer is to provide thorough responses in language easily understood by the inquirer.
