Hazard Training Needs
Assessment
Basic
Certification is followed by the completion of a Workplace-Specific Hazard
Assessment. The WSIB encourages employers to conduct this assessment in
consultation with worker members of the joint health and safety committee
(JHSC).
WHSC has prepared sector-specific Hazard Assessment Guides to help workplaces
identify hazards that will need to be addressed in Certification Part II. Upon
request, we can offer invaluable, on-site advice when conducting your hazard
assessment. We also have available more than 60 hazard-specific
awareness programs as well as a number of sector specific
training programs to help you comply with Certification Part II, the final
phase of the certification process.
The WHSC is ready to help you meet all your training needs. Contact one of
our training services representatives in Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton and Sarnia.
