WHSC's revised winter/spring schedule now online Register today for training

Do you think your workplace is safe? Many do. But is that because of proactive efforts to meet or exceed government regulations or is it simply the fortunate absence of tragedy?

Some says it’s an extreme example, but a recent tragic incident this past Christmas Eve in Toronto is a grim reminder of what can happen when worker health and safety is left to chance. Four workers were killed and another seriously injured when their scaffolding snapped in half plummeting the workers 13 storeys to the ground.

Thankfully WHSC is among those working to prevent similar tragedies. Through a full suite of training programs WHSC can assist workplaces to meet, if not exceed, legal requirements. Many workplaces have yet to certify their joint health and safety committee or now find their training is lacking. WHSC can help.

In the weeks ahead, thousands of Ontario workplaces will receive the WHSC’s latest promotional package titled Training for Life: Certifying for Prevention. The WHSC can work with you to help ensure your workplace health and safety program does not fail.

Start today by registering for training.
