Workplace Mental Health Training
Psychological injuries cause enormous suffering and cost the Canadian economy billions of dollars a year. Many of these result from work-related causes – difficult working conditions, job demands and the work environment. Fortunately, these psychosocial and psychological hazards can be identified and eliminated. Workplace mental health training can help.
From research evidence we know that workplace interventions can lead to better psychosocial working conditions and positively impact mental health at work.
In addition to their general duties, Ontario employers have specific legal obligations to develop and implement workplace violence and harassment policies and program(s) and must provide their workers with information and instruction on the content of these policies and measures.
To support Mental Health and workplaces seeking solutions, Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC), Ontario’s only government designated occupational health and safety (OHS) training centre, offers instructor-led, in-person and virtual classroom workplace mental health training courses. See your training options below.
