Training Services Rep (Markham)

Marketing, promoting, organizing and coordinating the delivery of WHSC training to unions and companies are the primary work tasks of WHSC Training Services Representatives (TSRs). To perform this work TSRs must possess advanced knowledge of Ontario health and safety law and grasp of key health and safety concepts, plus knowledge of the labour movement and an understanding of WHSC’s vision and mission.

Administrative Assistant (Hamilton)

Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) Training Services work group requires a temporary, full-time administrative assistant for a duration of 90 days, with a possibility for extensions of up to one year. Demonstrated knowledge of office administration, word processing and records maintenance are among the core skill sets required for this position. The successful candidate will also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Dynamics – the CRM platform WHSC uses to manage its client and membership databases. As our clients, constituents and their training records are vital to WHSC, other required knowledge and skills include, excellent communication skills, attention to accuracy and detail and a capacity to work collaboratively. Finally, a college diploma or equivalent experience in office administration is a must.
