E-publication subscriptions and web forms

We collect contact information (name and email address) when you subscribe to our e-publication. We also collect other information when you submit a form on our web site asking to access our free inquiry service or provide a course quote.

We do not share, trade or otherwise transfer all of your information in these circumstances to outside parties. This does not include transmitting your name and email address to our third-party service provider for the purpose of administering the subscriptions. Our agreement with our third-party service providers requires them to keep your information confidential. We may also release your information, if we are required by law to do so.

Course registrations

When you register for a course on our site you may be asked to provide contact and/or industry-related information (e.g., your name, company, addresses, email, phone number, industry sector). If you purchase services through the web site, then we may also collect your credit card information to process payment for the course(s) you have purchased.

If you purchase services through the web site, then we will retain the last four digits of your credit card number as a record of the transaction. We will not retain any other credit card information after the payment for the transaction has been processed.

Participant information gathered through course registrations may be shared with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, an organization at which you are employed or a union in which you are a member, upon request, for the purposes of verifying the completion of training taken.

For the purpose of processing and validating an application for reimbursement under the Small Business Health & Safety Training Program (also known as Worker Health & Safety Representative Training) the name of the individual taking the training and their email will be disclosed to the Ministry of Labour as well.

By proceeding with purchasing or registering for a WHSC course you hereby consent to the collection and processing of information as set out above.


Cookies are small files that our site transmits to your computer through your web browser that enable our site to capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to: understand and save your preferences for future visits, and to compile aggregate data about our site’s traffic so that we can improve the tools and information available on our site.


All information except credit card information is stored on our own servers. We implement a comprehensive range of security measures to ensure the security of the information stored on our servers. We will post any changes to the policy on this page and will update the modification date given below. All modifications to this policy will be effective thirty days after the change has been posted on this page. If you disagree with a change to the policy, you may give us notice within thirty days of the date the change was posted and we will not apply the change to any information we had previously collected from you. In those circumstances we may no longer be able to provide access to the non-public services provided through the web site.
