Workers receive Workplace Mental Health training in Ontario

Workplace Mental Health Training

Psychological injuries cause enormous suffering and cost the Canadian economy billions of dollars a year. Many of these result from work-related causes. Fortunately, these psychosocial and psychological hazards can be identified and eliminated. Workplace mental health training can help.

In addition to their general duties, Ontario employers have specific legal obligations to develop and implement workplace violence and harassment policies and program(s) and must provide their workers with information and training on the content of these policies and measures.

From research evidence we know that workplace interventions can lead to better psychosocial working conditions and positively impact mental health at work.

Start with quality training. As Ontario’s official occupational health and safety training centre, Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) offers a suite of workplace mental health training programs to meet legal obligations and in support of creating psychologically safe and healthy workplaces. See your training options below.
