FIRST AID & CPR TRAINING REGISTRATION
As an official Red Cross First Aid and CPR training partner, Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) offers much needed comprehensive first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in English and French to all workplace parties (workers, their representatives, supervisors and employers), students and to those with general personal interest. For French training please reach out to a Training Services Representative.

Train with WHSC to help meet the first aid training requirements set by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for businesses covered under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Our training is also aligned with the CSA Z1210:24 national standard for first aid training. In addition, WHSC delivers Canadian Red Cross training that incorporates the latest CPR guidelines and instruction in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Where applicable, our training also meets Transport Canada requirements as outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008E.
Depending on your needs or interests, first aid training can encompass: respiratory and cardiac arrest, head and spine injuries, bone, muscle and joint injuries, wound care, poisons including opioids, as well as airway, medical and environmental emergencies. To meet most workplace requirements, including those spelled out by the WSIB, you can never go wrong with Intermediate (Standard) First Aid & CPR/AED, as it is the most comprehensive and requested course.
